Concept:

  • Create a logo that focuses on a farm-fresh, simple, and healthy design approach
  • Push the branding towards a minimal and simple feeling
  • Create weekly menus and packaging designs that fit the logo/brand

  • The focus of Betsy’s meals is to provide a daily serving of a nutritious meal in a healthy portion size.”I saw a need and I wanted to serve my community better in a healthy way,” Grinder said.
  • “The goal behind this was providing somebody with the perfect portion size, so then they don’t overeat — they don’t have it in their house to overeat — though a lot of people do still have leftovers,” Grinder said.
  • Orders are taken at least 24 hours in advance and Grinder said she does an average of about 90 meals a week.
  • Each Saturday at 10 a.m., Grinder releases her menu for the coming week. It is posted on the Your Daily Serving Facebook page, and she provides paper menus for VFW and Village Friends members, for whom she is a vendor. Members of both get a discount.
