Rough Narrative/Script:
Wearing makeup is a part of many people’s daily routines. Before cosmetic products go out on the shelf, they must be considered safe for humans. However, many cosmetic companies test these products on animals every day to determine if the product is safe or not. Humans aren’t animals, so how does that make sense?
Say your pet went through lipstick trials to prove whether the product ingredients are safe or not. Your pet would be at serious health risks and suffer without reason. I think I know your response to that, and you can prevent that from happening to innocent animals. Over 500,000 animals suffer and die worldwide every year in cosmetics tests.
325+ companies have endorsed the Humane Cosmetics Act, which would end unnecessary animal testing in the U.S. You can do your part by purchasing cruelty free cosmetics that have the leaping bunny logo, such as e.l.f., Wet N Wild, and CoverGirl.
